I missed Sergio's last fight, gotta watch this one.

 

His skin looks pretty ripped without looking gaunt or dehydrated. If the weigh in was 158 he should be able to do 154 decently, 150 not sure.

Last time he weighed in at 154 was 2 years ago for Cintron though

Sergio use to fight at WW for a number of years. He then moved to 154 and stayed there for a long time. He didnt move up to MW because of weight. He moved up because thats where the bigger fights were. This will only be his 5th fight at MW and for every single fight he has weighed in at 158 or even 157 pounds so how can you say that this guy is some big MW that cant lose weight?

Dont give me that body fat stuff. Unless youre a smaller guy like Morales who moved up then you are not going to look fat at these lower weights. These guys are smalll for real life. You expect him to look chubby when only weighing in at 158 pounds? He can easily make 154 as I think he's still a 154 pounder. I guarantee he can get to 152 pretty solidly also and 150 or 51 isnt out the question.

He's no different then Pac and no different then Floyd to some degree. He can get down. He just fights at MW but he's not Hopkins, Joppy, Holmes, and these other past MW's. He's small for that weight. Someone said he walks around in the 170's but so does Ortiz and he was just fighting at 140

going down to 150 would kill him. If I were him i would put on about 5 or 6 more pounds and fight Bute, or Froch vs ward winner.

 

Weighing 158 lb's concedes he's not a big MW , if team Martinez want this fight (Mayweather) they'll have to get Floyd to 156 , if not , then id walk away , there's big fights for Martinez 160/168 i dont get this obsession with Mayweather and Pacquiao , there WW's let them do there thing @147 and move onto to being a dominant MW champion of the world :deal

He is not a JrMW he's a MW , Benard Hopkins weighed 156lbs against Oscar De La Hoya did that make him a WW :huh Martinez has the physical dimensions of a Middleweight fighter , his power has never looked better at his current weight , yes he can make 154 , but why when he performs better cutting less , he recently disclosed he walks around @170+ , 150 is completley out of the question , 156 is where the fight should be made (if at all it gets made) , Mayweather had no issues fighting Oscar @154 , so he should get a take it or leave it 156 lb fight and thats it ............

A man who earns 6 figures for every fight should not be looking to boil himself for a payday , its ****in bad for the sport
