Yes I can see how observant you are and can tell the way you write you are a true warrior they would have to beat you to a pulp and you would still get up and shout "Yo Adrian....Adrian yo..." I know you would never quit..I just wish there were more hero's like you we can look up to...What library do you work in....

Do you want him to get killed for about 15 grand? I don't like to see people quit on their stool if they haven't given any effort, or just can't be bothered to push themselves. Sam Peter ve Vitali Klitschko for example took some punches but was never really hurt or in danger of being stopped but quit when he heard he was so far behind. And he was getting 7 figures for that. British title fights don't pay alot, Appleby had given all he could, there was nothing left to happen other than getting violently knocked out, I don't blame him at all.

Im just stating what happened lads, nothing more, nothing less.

Where have I ever passed judgement on Appleby?

He quit on his stool - that is a fact imo. He had nothing left and mentally quit. I'm not passing judgement on him. It's his life. As I said, Paul Ingle refused to quit when he was in a similar situation and look at him now.

have you ever been involved in a 10 round war?

have you ever fought in sheering heat like that?

do you know what its likes to take sickening punches to head and body like Appleby did in the latter rounds?

have you ever seen what pro fighters puts into his training to make weight and get into shape?

    I bet you ****ing haven't.

Roberto Duran was a blatant quit job in the 2nd Leonard fight.

Paul gave absolutely everything and you are passing judgement calling him a quit job, go **** yourself you pube snorter.

    Very irrational post.

Its hard to understand how you can disagree that Appleby said he didn't want to continue and didn't fight on.

    Of course he showed heart.

However when he got taken to that place where he felt that he could not win the fight, he stopped.

Eubank was at that place vs Watson in their second fight and kept going.
Tyson knew he wasn't going to beat Lewis after the third round imo.
Boxing is littered with fighters who showed amazing heart and will to win.

If someone like Mayweather had quit like that we would never hear the end of it.

paul had nothing left he couldnt breath and had to have oxygen so he couldnt continue on , but next time he has a fight and that happens , hopefully it never does but i will say to him paul get up and get back in the fight , what do u want him to get permanent damage ? he gave his all have you ever been in a ring and had nothing left leaving you no option ? probably not . everyone is entitled to there own opinion but he never just thought cant be bothered i will just quit , he had no option .
