Martin immediately backs up as Beranza comes at him, whacking away at his sides. Wild swings down low by Beranza, but he's got himself submerged below Martin's jabbing range and has Martin too shy to exchange body shots with him, so Beranza is the only one landing. BIG LEFT HOOK by Beranza as Martin is ducking down in a tactical misstep. Hooks to the body by Beranza with the left and right, looking to have no stamina problems here in the ninth as suggested earlier when he was wheezing and coughing on his stool. HARD left hook to the body by Beranza, almost straying below the belt line. Martin is steadily backed up and not jabbing, but just holding his left arm out as a pushing rod. Slapping left hook to the body by Beranza and then a hard right to the other side, before bring his left up for a double hook to the face that surprises Martin and makes him wince!!!!

Round 10

Beranza bosses Martin back with his short hooks as he hustles in on Martin. They jab together and Beranza takes a stiff one on the nose that makes him blink but not stop coming forward. Martin is pushed into a corner and gets his ears clapped by a flurry of shots from Beranza. Just nonstop punching by Beranza as he sticks to Martin like glue, throwing lots of short and not terribly hurtful but heavy little blows all over the young prospect. Martin tries to just lean in and force a clinch but Beranza is stronger. Martin lands some stinging left hook counters while backing up but Beranza just shakes them off and keeps coming. They hook together and Beranza's face is turning violently but he won't stop coming forward and painting Martin with jabs and clubbing down with rights. They trade body shots leaning in toe to toe!!!! Big exchange!! Hooks landing for both! Bell! Glove touch!

I'm a big Chris Martin fan but he needs to lose his zero tonight.

The bitter pill will hopefully make him go to the drawing board and make some improvements, and come back even more determined. :good He is young. His career will be fine and can recover from this.

PLEASE give this to Beranza, boxing gods. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
