boo Mayweather landed only 35%, his connect/connected-against ratio was only a +20%. still higher than, oh yeah, EVERY ACTIVE FIGHTER OUT THERE
It is what it is!!!!! It might be biased and chose to show only parts where Mayqeather missed his punches, but the thing that is certain is that it missed. *****s are quick to discredit it as a doctored video. There are several *****s who were saying that those punches were "measuring up your opponents." Then we should include all those 'measuring up" as connect punches. For example, in round 4, there were around 15 actual connects and 12 "measuring up" punches for a grand total connect number of 27 connected punches.
Best shot of the fight. Same way Castillo beat Floyd and won almost every late round. Notice how Ortiz landed his best shots soon after he landed this ? Just as Castillo had his best round 6 after cracking the left side of Floyd's body. This content is protected
Best shot by Ortiz.. He faked the right hook to the body and went in with the straight left against the shoulder roll. Truly caught Floyd there. :think Pac by KO. If that was Pac landing Mayweather would of been out cold. Despite Pac not knocking any less durable, older and more damaged fighters out. Clottey ate about 8 body shots per round.. He still seen the final bell. That one shot would KO Floyd though.
Ortiz hits harder than Pac. Has a better right hook. And is stronger physically. Floyd walked him down and that is risky. Walking a smaller man with no defense who cant fight backing up would not cause Floyd to get stretched. It would be the opposite. I bet my left nut that Floyd lands clean on Pac early with no feeling out. And Pac misses wildly but never gets to eventually land regularly during the mid rounds while he is still getting his face busted up.
agreed 100%:good. I would like to add that IMO, Floyd did not seem to take the shots very well this time, whenever Ortiz landed he had his typical smirk on his face but something tells me that it hurt him more than usually (especially the right hook before the headbutt)
