At least Jesse is the more exciting of the two Magdaleno brothers (and has more raw talent than Diego, IMO) :bbb

 

The little girl rocking the Himno Nacional is an amazing singer for a kid. :shock:

Magdaleno is popping some sharp right jabs. Hidalgo circles left and throws a long right uppercut to the body, but Magdaleno hurts him with a straight left up top. Hidalgo is pushed into a corner as Magdaleno flurries hard on him. Hidalgo survives only to get smashes back into a corner moments later as Magdaleno throws ferocious combos with big power and dizzying speed. Hidalgo manages to keep his feet, impressively enough. In fact, he's clearing the cobwebs pretty quickly and seems to recover well as each flurry dies down. Hidalgo circles out, hands up. Double looping right hand by Hidalgo! Right to the body by Hidalgo. WTF is he trying to do, steal the round? No chance. He's got moxie, though.

I don't get it. He hangs tough, survives all those vicious attacks and then rallies some offense late in the round (putting himself at further risk)..and then just packs it in between rounds? :huh

I guess he was cut.

It has indeed, about fifty minutes ago. I'll be seeing it for the first time myself coming up after this replay of Miura-Hernandez (which was several hours ago).

You might want to duck & dodge spoilers if you want to watch w/o knowing the result. (ie stay off the rest of the General forum and Boxrec)

You're welcome to hang in this thread with me while watching, in the hopes that some ******* doesn't come in and ruin anything for ya. (I already know how everything went down, but am still looking forward to seeing it with my own eyes)
