In his recent interview, Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao’s trainer since the start of the Filipino’s career, said that he has spoken to his fighter about retirement. According to Roach, Manny Pacquiao is keen on following his trainer’s advice because he knows ‘trainers know best’.
Roach said, “The thing is, we’ve talked about that (retirement). Manny’s asked me ‘When I start showing signs of slippage and I need to retire, will you tell me?’ and I said ‘I’ll be the first one to tell you’ Manny. And I said ‘When I tell you, will you retire?’ and he (Pacquiao) said ‘Of course I will. Because most guys won’t (contemplate retirement when needed). We have a good relationship and I know he’s coming close to the end of his career.”
It should be noted here that Roach has been Pacquiao’s trainer for more than 10 years now. It is because of Roach that Pacquiao has been able to understand his real strength and skills. Recently, Pacquiao spoke about his retirement. He said that he will retire probably after his fight with Timothy Bradley, but his family is insisting him to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. before he hangs up his gloves. Some days later, Pacquiao changed his retirement plans and is now looking forward to beat Floyd.

Great video.. Everyone loves manny because he's a humble angel outside of the ring and a speed demon in the ring! Floyd is an annoying guy that cures insomnia in the ring.

Yeah, like this can't be done with Floyd, or any of the popular boxers of today.

Yeah floyd is very good at sucker punches... Manny would never do that, he's a true warrior that would never want to win in that fashion!

Great video, thanks for posting P:good

14:35 of praise, wow, it felt good to watch this. Of course editing is a factor, but I was very surprised at the amount of praise and positive evaluation Pacquiao gets from all these people from such different backgrounds.

To me it's impossible not to like Pac if you're a boxing fan. There must be something else that drives some people in this board to dislike/hate/discredit Pac

Although we want to see Pac/Floyd, I'm also ok with the idea that it may never happen, I think this would do Floyd too much of a favor. Other fighters are more deserving of a big payday
