In fairness Froch was only probably saying that because he was bitter he never got his fight with Calzaghe and was still trying to lure him out.

Even though I really like Froch this statement shows that 75% of everything coming from him is bullcrap. I thought that was common knowledge.

He's entitled to his view..even if it may be biased. I thought Kessler beat him clearly, yet Calzaghe clearly beat Kessler pulling away in the 2nd half of the fight. Bottom line though is.....JC won ALL of his fights. Retired underfeated. He cant ever say that. Thats a fact, whether you like it or not! :deal

If you are very generous to Hopkins it was a close fight... To the unbiased eye this fight can never be viewed as a Hopkins win... No way...

But this has been discussed senseless since they fought... No need to go there again.

Calzaghe won the fight in America. The majority of the fans + the majority of the judges felt it was a Calzaghe win.

Froch may not be the most objective opinion when it comes to Calzaghe.

A lot of people thought Dirrell beat you, Carl.

So what? Who cares what you think.

Everybody thought Calzaghe won. Only the ultra-Hopkins-fans thought he had it. I remember I scored it something like for Calzaghe 115 - 112

Froch knows what he is doing. Calzaghe retired undefeated and is seen as one of the greatest from the U.K. ever. Froch will be competing with his legacy. Of course he is going to say Hopkins beat him. Makes Calzaghe look bad and shifts attention to him. Plus it helps get get a shot at B-Hop if he beats Dawson and Froch beats Ward.
