Barker has a perforated ear drum!

    Match room sport boss Eddie Hearn, Darren Barkers promoter has announced on his twitter that Darren Barker has suffered a perforated ear drum. Looks like that shot that landed on the ear was worse than it appeared on screen.

    I just want to say that I think Barker put up a tremendous effort against a quality boxer and deserves respect for pushing Martinez in a way that few have. Best of luck to Barker in the future, I have confidence that he can win a version of the world title down the line.

    You could tell by the way he was grimacing and holding his face last night something out of the ordinary happened.

    Looked kinda suspect to me but you think about the accumulation of punches its a real possibility.The very last punch martinez landed hit barker right behind the ear.
    Regardless of the outcome, barker made some fans last night.Hope we get to see him in action again in the near future.

    Damn.....sergio must be one heavy-handed ****er to be able to do that with a blocked shot. He did impress for sure and I feel bad for saying he quit...that **** is painful....Pac had to fight through that **** with Cotto is I'm not mistaken.

    Briggs probably didn't know he had a perforated eardrum because he suffered so many other injuries you ****ing *******.

    Message to Pacquiao fans. Just stop it. Had Sergio not called Pacquiao out, you wouldn't doubt Barkers injuries or say Sergio should fight Pirog.
