If its at 154, I like the fight. Cintron has looked like **** when hes tried to come in close to the WW limit, trying to prove he can make WW. Cintron has been more effective at a full 154 pounds.
Cintron is coming off a schooling by Molina, and a controversial win over Antwone Smith. He hasn't clearly 'won' a fight since '09. That's why it's a **** fight.
A good logical next step for Alvarez IMO. Slight step up and a good measure of what he can really do.
Besides the 2 fights you mentioned, Cintron has only had one other fight since 09. Between the Williams and Molina fight was a 14 month layoff. This will be his 3rd fight this year.
This is a good fight for the young Canelo. Cintron is not prime anymore but he can punch and has more skills than he is given credit for. Not to mention some serious experience vs world class opposition.
Cintron isn't **** anymore, Carlos Molina took his heart and Antwan Smith throw the remains in the ****ing gutter.
