Hold on: Golota?? Grant?? Rahman was considered easy bout til he ko'd Lewis, same for McCall. Tua showed up 25 pounds overweight and did not try. Lewis was god, but chin was weak, very weak.

quote from 90s: "Oliver McCall seemed perfectly normal yesterday for a boxer who trained in rehab for a title fight."

As a previous poster implied, any fighter's resume can be torn up in hindsight. At the time Grant and Golota appeared to be very stiff challenges, and Lennox was praised for being willing to face them. He's the one who exposed them, perhaps ruined them. Tua was seen as highly dangerous. Lennox fought the best guys around, beat most of them convincingly.

A top 5 all time heavyweight without a doubt. So no, of course not.

    Indeed.

TS, I'd like to see the spin you put on Tyson and Holmes careers please.

    This should be good.

Lol. He's better than Tyson and Holyfield, for starters, so I guess those fighters are overrated according to you, too?

If anything he's underrated. I got him at #3 in my ATG HW ranking and I don't see how you could have him any lower.

He wouldn`t of beaten a prime Mike Tyson.Tyson should of hung up his gloves after the Buster Douglas fight imo. When Lloyd Honeyghan beat the exceptional Don Curry,Curry was never the same fighter again.

*He beat Holyfield twice IMO (top 10 all time heavy) and an over the hill Tyson (top 10 heavy?). Then he has back up wins against Tucker, Razor Ruddock, Bruno, Mason, Golota, Botha, Rahman, Briggs, Tua, Mercer, McCall, Tommy Morrison, Grant, and he stopped 1 of the men who has ruled the division since his retirement. ****, Bowe bottled it. He dominated the HW division at a time when the Divison was stacked to the max, probably the second best era ever behind the 70s. He is universally considered to be a top 10 heavyweight, and with his record he is probably top 5. Head to head he matches any HW in history (he doesn't necessarily beat them all, but he gives all a good go). The only man I'd solidly favour over him is a young Ali. So yeah, he's overrated.

You think Tyson should have retired at 24 years old?
