that'll teach that kiwi for stealing some of georgeous george's bacon at the grand final breakfast. :thumbsup
Heres the early betting market for the 2012 season. Looks pretty reasonable to me. Manly $7 Storm $8 Newcastle, Warriors,Tigers $9 Broncos,dragons $11 Bulldogs,Souths $15 Cowboys, Roosters $17 Raiders,Eels,Panthers $21 Titans $41 Sharks $51
I'm assuming this is just off this season. No way in **** Newcastle is coming close, same with Broncos and Dragons without their coach/players. Panthers an outside shot? Isn't Gus Gould going there? Good bet to put on I think... Love it how Sharks were ahead of Parra and Titans, and still end up as the odds on Wooden Spooners haha.
LOL Souths are not favourites like last year? Then stupid mugs must have lost a fortune to have made Souths a favourite after they bought speedboat.
im not so sure about this. they didnt go too bad this year. Theyll have the supercoach and darius boyd on board, buderus coming back will be huge. if they can keep uate, tahu and mullen fit and kade snowden fires.... :think stranger things have happened.. good roughies IMO
Not saying they'll win, but Parra at $21 isn't bad value. Add Sandow to that team and when you consider 3 losses in Extra time and a draw vs St George.
titans arnt to bad at $41..with there recuruting they will be a sure top 8.....knights at $9 ill take that !!!
I think Knights will have a good season. The Dragons went from 7th to minor premiers from when Bennett took over from Brown. Admittedly they were underachieving under Brown, and I guess some would say that the Knights over achieved this season, but I'm expecting to see a completely different Knights side.
So whats the deal with the AFL trying to move in on Sydney? Is this possible and do the NRL need to be on the ball to make sure this doesnt happen? I think the Warriors will do good next season. Souths will be much better with a fit Inglis ready to go from the off and Mcguire will get that defence sorted.
The AFL have bucketloads of cash to inject into the Sydney project. Even if it isnt successful straight up, they'll stick with it. Kind of similar to what the NRL are doing with Melbourne Storm.
Howabout all you ****s **** up and let us Mighty Manly fans simmer in the sweet juices of Victory before talking about next year
