12 hours between China time and NYC....so 6 AM NYC Time plus how many ever hours you are ahead of NYC. Looks like there are 3 red belt WBO titles on the line. I know Monte Barrett's interim WBO Asia Pacific is on the line...formerly Tua's interim in another defense. The vacant WBO China Zone title is on the line. Maybe the other 1 is the interim WBO Oreintal Title...also Monte Barrett's. There are 3 red belts in the photos coming out of China though.

If Welliver can develop China into another nice piece of the puzzle, he may be able to bring a Klit to face him there. History making fight. 1st HW Title fight in China. Joe Hipp would be the 1st Native American to both fight and train a guy to fight for the HW title. Chauncy would become the 2nd Native American HW Title Challenger.

If they won! That would be Hollywood Movie Time!

And the only way to beat a Klit is to fight like Welliver up there in that remix fight footage. You have to charge these Klits and let your hands go until either you die or they die. As it is, any guy who can force a Klit into a brutal war for just a few rounds will have done more than anyone else. There is no use laying back and losing. Going out on the shield or the throne is the only way.

How much did he weigh in at???

Which time NYC time, do the fight start?

And I mean like 18:00 not the AM/PM time. Just European clock.

I'm not sure. I saw people saying Facebook wasn't allowed in China. Then next thing you know Calloway is posting pictures to FB somehow and Chauncy's finacee is talking about how cool it is to see Chauncy interacting with all the fans on the streets. I guess they have some mega electronic billboards promoting the fight in the city of 13 million.

My data for when the fight is occurring is off of a mega Calloway fan claiming it starts 6 AM NYC Time. That puts it at 11 AM London, Noon Berlin. I will be working but it may be possible to find it online via a CCTV channel. I'm not sure on that though. It will be on Chinese Free To Air TV.

Cool. But nothing about his weight?

  6. They both suck. Chauncy is a fat pasty **** with no power. Calloway was killed by everyone who was ever good like: Briggs,Rahman and Audley Harrison.

It's laughable, when I hear Chauncy Welliver deserves a shot at the Klitschkos for facing this kind of opposition.

Welliver is just a couple months into being 28. Between his Toughman start at 16 yrs old and his Pro start at 18 years old, he has over 100 fights. James Toney is not even as throwback as this guy. 50 HW Wins by this time tomorrow. House is packed, sold out, millions will watch on TV. But Guess what????

Welliver Internet Critics will still be masterbating in their parents basement and begging for more allowance.

Well that could be a good fight. Interesting as well.

    But back to Welliver.

Good to see him getting his 50th win. But very disapointing that he could not knock Calloway out. I mean come on. Briggs and several others knocked this guy out.

So The MesserStick: I like Welliver very much. It is good to see him loosing much weight and have now won 15 straight fights since the Solis fight. Also good to see him staying as active as he is.

But he really need to knock Calloway out.

Tks for beating me to it. Chauncy called me up from China on my way home from work. UD12 win, almost a shut out. He said Calloway came to fight and was very determined.

So you know what's next right.....the updating of stats.

Win #50 for the #8 HW in the world. Welliver extends his HW round streak of never going down to 343 rounds! Between the 3 WBO Regional Titles, plus his 2 WBC regionals and the NZ HW Championship, Welliver has a lot of hardware now.

I think the obvious fight would be Monte Barrett. Chauncy is his interim Champion. Chauncy is the New Zealand HW Champ and the winner would be perfect to go at Tua again after he gets a quick tune up win...perhaps on their undercard?

Chris Arreola is another fight that should be thought about. Chris needs to take care of Alonzo Butler and show that he is staying in shape. After that, him and Welliver should fight to see who the most serious HW is. Bewteen the 2 of them they have lost about 100 pounds. Chauncy is the type of guy who it will take a monster effort and a monster number of punches to outscore. It is the perfect test for Arreola and the perfect test for Welliver as well. Chauncy has to beat a guy like Chris to be firmly in the fans minds when it comes to looking for a Klitschko opponent who will sell it a bit that they have any kind of chance. I would love to see this fight. Pac 12 showdown....Washington vs California in Arreola's back yard. Welliver UD 12 there as well. :bbb

    Your welcome;)

Nice, great ang thx for the update.

Good to hear that Calloway came to fight. Yeah I see a fight with either Barret or Tua. Really hope that he can smack Tua to retirement. Barret can be dangerous.

    But 2 questions:

    1. How much did Welliver weigh in at?

    2. Since he just went 12 rounds, will we expect to see him again in the ring in 2011?
