    Karelin only competed in MMA once, but with some mma training I'd pick Karelin over anybody, he was fast, freakishly strong 6'4, lean 300 lb and had 87" reach, a real physical specimen.

    Hes no doubt an absolutely phenomenal wrestler, but would that skill alone allow him anywhere near Fedor who is blessed with a tremendous amount of fighting versatility?

    Thats the general sort of point I was trying to make. Surely, experience and versatility is where the money is MMA, just like in boxing. Specialists with little experience in a different field can't boogy experience and versatility.
