all wrong...Shane stopped manny's combos by simply circling and sticking him w/ little ***** love tap jabs and if Floyd had enough power to keep Mosley honest why not Pacquiao?

and the "clinch" will be the determining factor in the bout....Pacquiao may hit harder BUt he is certainly not physically stronger than pbf

To my knowledge Mayweather turns up the heat in the later rounds

The real question is: Can Mayweather cope with the volume of punches, the speed and the power of Pacquiao? Unfortunately, I think we will never know and it's sad cause the sport of boxing NEEDS this fight.

lets take it a step furthur

lets say floyd has better timing by 95%

so now u got a $may with a 10% speed advantage aswell as a 95% edge in timing so now ill ask u the same ? u asked who do you think has the advantage? who do you think will win?

ps. timing is just 1 advantage swung high in fmm favor.

If ever Froid finds the balls to fight Pac, Roach will tune Pac to adapt to Floyd's speed. Pac has many fast sparring partners and one of then is Amir. Amir throws fast punches in bunches and some people actually say Amir is as fast or faster than Froid. Another sparring Partner that Roach will bring up is Shawn Porter.

PAC will KO Floyd under 8.

I think pac is faster both hand and foot speed, floyd has definitely slowed down compared to his days at the lower weights 130-140 but he's still fast for your average boxer. The right question should be how does pac cope up to those accurate and intelligent timed shots floyd throws all the time and how does he cope when floyd tries to negate everything pac does using every trick in the book(elbows, clinching) people will call it dirty but true boxing fans know best that it is intelligent boxing

They're both around the same level of speed.

The more important factor will be timing. People tend to overlook that area because it's less blatant and obvious, but it's utterly crucial to any combat sport. Speed without timing means nothing. Notice that Marquez doesn't even have top level handspeed, but because of his excellent timing he is always able to give Pacman a nightmare, even though Pac has some of the fastest hands and feet in the sport today. Timing is incredibly important, and Floyd is a master when it comes to this area. He's particularly good at knowing exactly when to throw that straight right hand and catch the other guy off balance...even when you know the punch is coming, he seems to sense the perfect time to throw it. It's probably Floyd's best punch, and it just so happens to be the shot that most people recommend against southpaws.

I don't think speed alone is going to be the big problem here. Pac has dealt with fairly quick people in the lower weight classes, and he spars with Khan, who has top level handspeed. The real question is -- can Pac cope with Floyd's skill, timing and ability to control distance?

Pac has been proven to have a very sturdy chin. He took clean shots from Cotto and Margarito with both using 8oz. gloves.

Floyd also hasn`t dealt with a fighter who throws 200 punches with bad intentions per round.

I think it is a great match up that could go either way its just a shame the Mayweather clan couldn`t give Manny his props and resorted to smearing him with no evidence to back up their outrageous claims.

Mayweather's speed will bother Pac in the aspect that Mayweather will be able to pull the trigger and return fire quicker then the other fighters Pac has faced. Pac will have to respect it and will look to fight a little more conservative when looking to pull the trigger himself.

"WHAT THE **** YOU SAY" Pac doesn't throw 200 punches per round and he damn sure doesn't throw 100 punches per round against opponents that show him movement. To be fair, all the real **** talking about PED'S didn't really start until the negotiations fell through the first time.
