Vitali Klitschko as a Kickboxer?

    Anybody know that Vitali Klitschko used to kickbox? Didn't know till today. Hahaha

    Of course he looked different 17 years ago. Who looks the same at 22 and 39?

    I feel sorry for that poor guy. Put in with a future heavyweight world boxing champ.

    Kickboxing is messed up.

    I've heard he got KTFO by a head kick from some guy called Pele Reid. I don't think there's a video though.

    dont know the name..but yeah..apparently they both threw round house kics (which are really hard) and the other guy connected first...with of course vitalis own momentum going into the kick..he got knocked out...only knockout ever in many amature and pro kicking boxing and boxing matches (he did get stopped or pull out of some fights due to injuries, Masakev as a amature boxer...and of course byrd and lewis) however the kick was the only time he was ever KTFO

    Pele Reid wasnt much cop as a boxer though. He's chin was horrendous and he was a peg below journeyman status.

    klitschko has a damn good chin (vitali that is) but you get caught flush wih a side kick when you have thrown your own and you are likely going to get knocked out to matter who you are.

    i never knew that, i kind of doubt it, but i guess if its true, then it is

    was he even a good kickboxer, if he was one at all?

    I think he held 6 World titles, what ever that means in that sport.

    He lied about getting knocked out by Pele Reid. He tried to claim it was a kick to the leg but it was actually on his Chin. HBO said it a few years ago.

    Vitali is a quitter, steroid cheat and Glass Hearted hypocrite.

    Except Pele Reid and even Reids former trainer the bout was stopped due to problems with Vitalis leg.

    Maskaev "won" against Vitali back in the amateurs on a cut, I guess he knocked him down and out cold aswell?

    So there's a city called Tokyo in Japan with more people than the Big Apple.

    I never knew that, I kind of doubt it, but I guess if its true, then it is.
