Margarito already walked him down once.

There are good MW prospects out there who likely could get the job done.
To say you can't beat him coming forward is just a ridiculous notion.

Good fighter, excellent athletic qualities, tough, unorthodox (which has worked out very well for him), very fast, nice movement, a lot of technical deficiencies, not very versatile, offense is good, but not very creative or dynamic, sloppy.

he will kill margarito in the rematch... just look at what pacquiao did to margarito..

martinez is just as fast and probably more evasive then pacquiao... and sure as hell hits harder

margarito would probably get tko'd in 7 or less

I totally agree. Martinez is not only sexier, but easily faster, tougher, more athletic, and has better overall ring generalship than margarito. Seriously, Margarito is just tough and has alot of heart. Sexy Sergio would destroy him in a rematch, prolly knock him out too, brah.

He's a very good fighter but has been shown to have limitations.

When looking at the Barker fight you've got to praise Barker's tactics. Sergio likes to leave his hands down and draw people in for that big left. Barker had obviously worked hard on the game plan and just never fell for that. At points he was the one drawing Martinez in.

    Barker's shown the way now.

It's a shame because Martinez is just now stepping into the spotlight and he is 36 years old. His time as a very good boxer is probably limited and depends on how he is promoted as to how long he will remain successful. If he is thrown into the lion's den with Mayweather or even Bhop, he'll probably get dismantled. But win or lose, I'll still be jackin off to his fights.

Hes a small middleweight, who is really a natural 154 lbs fighter.

He weighed the same in the ring against Barker as Margarito weighed in the ring against Pacquiao.

I noticed that too. As I was admiring his sleek, sexy form in the weigh-in I noticed that Barker almost looked a weight class above him. Regardless, I was mesmerized and my heart told me that he would not only win the fight, but win my soul.

Agreed, Hopkins would school him and that's not just because of the weight advantage.

He's still a very sexy guy though.

I like him but he's in love with himself in the ring. He's gonna get schooled by the first fast and disciplined boxer/puncher he goes in against.
