I have listened to it a few times and I can't make it out. It sounds a bit like " I can't see" which would make sense cause his face was drenched in blood. I have never seen bleeding as bad as Pavliks in the ring that night but thats what happens if you drink heavy. Go to 2:50 of the video if you want to see what he says. I can't make it out personally.

That how I always heard it as well. One additional piece of evidence is that after Leow says "Don't say that," he also says something like "If you say that they're gonna..." and his cutman says "Let me do my job." Both would be logical responses to Pavlik saying he couldn't see.

Yeah, Lowe did not want the ring doctor to hear that Pavlik said " I can't see." So he said " Don't say that." So the Pavlik haters will just have to imagine he said " I want to quit." They can get a hard on to the imaginary visual of Pavlik quiting and can even cream their jeans to it for all I care.

I always wanted to go to Pavliks bar the 13th round but never got the chance I hear he closed it down. Was a nice looking bar from the pictures I have seen. That would be cool to play some pool or darts with Pavlik I hear he is real good.

He should stop apologizing and get to work if he really wants to move on with his career. Apologizing is overrated. Too often you just want people's sympathy with it and still don't walk the walk.

Thats where Pavlik says " I need a drink." And Lowe says "You cant, You fcking cant!"

Most people don't undersatnd but a alchoholic like Pavlik was needs to drink. He had probably gone all day without a drink and was going through withdrawals. I have seen guys go into convulsions if they go 8 hrs without drinking.

Read his lips its "drink" not "quit." What would be the big deal if he wanted to quit for a fraction of a second anyway? Pavlik got up and took his beating.

It sounded to me like he said he wanted a drink imo. Its quite possible considering he was an alcoholic and probably went at least a day without anything to drink. He may have been going through some heavy withdrawals at that point.
