Not enough. Frankie was getting threads day after day about his training, etc. I’ve only seen a few about DeGale and he’s shown no intention to change. It’s a weird imbalance, IMO.

frankie's style is the type that would benefit from certain trainers..... he's a slick south paw that rely's on slipping punches and countering.... he uses angles and lots of lateral movement of the head and feet. if you don't get the correct trainer who understands how do improve these skills then you won't reach your potential.

i'd love to see frankie move to america and work with someone like whitteker or mayweather. i think it would improve him as a fighter. same goes for degale!

Not aimed at you mate, but.....

What's the deal with Whitaker as a trainer, who has he trained other than Judah?

If anyone was to move to the US to be trained by Whitaker I would seriously question it.

Fantastic fighter seldom translates to a fantastic trainer.

well yeah i agree with that. maybe whitteker is a bad choice. but someone who has the knowledge of slick south paw boxing. when you look at styles their's diffferent levels of difficulty, and frankies style is one of the most difficult to master. thats why not many fighters fight like that. if you don't get the perfect tutelage you'll make mistakes in fights and get beat because its a high risk style. you leave your self open. one mistake and you get caught.

everyone who see's frankie train and spar says he's unbelievable, but soon as he stepped up he struggled. tells me that he isn't progressing how he should and not reaching his potential.

mayweather wouldn't be unbeaten if he didn't have the training he had.

Frankie needs the fear factor similar to what Calzaghe needed.

he needs to be fighting people that have a chance of beating him to see the best of him, he ain't going to get that here, therefore it would perhaps be best fighting some tough Yanks or Mexicans.

Yeah whatever runtime frankie. He is obviously not ready for the likes of Ajose Olusegun, Ashley Theophane and Kell Brook.

Frankie, what do you reckon of Jamie 'Smigga' Smith? I know he's training at the same gym as you. I'm meeting him saturday for a quick interview.
