I thought he done his job well Saturday night. Looked good but there is still a lot of hard work for him to do. I feel when he steps up again to the next level he will get better and up his preformace again. Lee was calling out Barker but Barker refused the fight. People go on about Lee not having boxed anyone decent Barker has looked poor at European level. Think Barker v Lee would be a good fight with Andy getting a late stopage win.

I find some of these posts very funny, you could easily tell what country the person writing was from.
These same people were on here last week saying Lee would get beat..
He beats the shite of a tough opponent, improves his defence and stamina, but i dont give a shite about these jealous boxing experts.
Thing is im from Limerick Ireland and im very exited by a future Middleweight world Champion named Andy Lee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There once was a boxer called Andy Lee
    Whose style was incredibly sloppy
    Two attempts to beat Vera
Amongst the worst of his era
But now the Paddys think he's an ATG

Chin heart and power man that's what I like about Lee and the Irish .He came back well against McEwan when he was losing .John Duddy had terrible headmovement but he couldn't half take a punch .Micky Ward as well warrior .All he won was a WBU belt but the heart chin and power against Gatti still makes him look great .Just the style a hardcore boxing fan likes .This vid's quality as well .I like Irish fighters they've all got granite chins .

Didn't Barker go down after Martinez patted him on the head. But you were soooooo AWESOOOME Darren, we lure you!!!

Dunnes chin was suspect but at least he kept getting up.

Very childish post Slap, because a few are slagging off Andy Lee you feel the need to rip into Barker.

Difference between Barker and Dunne? Barkers chin is decent...Dunne's was certified glass.

Casey was taken down with body shots not head shots.

Anyway, no one ever gave him a chance I had money on him to get stopped. Its a fairly dumb point anyway.

i really like andy lee but god dman he has one of the most annoyingest style i've ever seen!

he's terrified of letting himself go. soo many times in the vera fight i was shouting at the screen for him to throw a zab judah style counter uppercut something which vera was open fopr all night but lee would just move away or hold.

he has pretty decent hand speed and power but just doesn't let it go.

Yeah I see it like that too.

But then again, when he gets dragged into brawls he generally comes off worse. But I see what your saying, he could do with letting one or two more punches fly when he's in control and on the attack.
