Perhaps Floyd fought someone as fast as pac in judah, but judah is a 5 rounds frontrunner and a mental midget. In those 5 rounds judah beat floyd and hurt him. Why do u think judah quit against khan on the 5th round. Cause he knew he's a frontrunner and was getting beat and has no chance after 5 so he quit. Not sure who wins but, Pac will not gas after 5. He doesnt mentally defeat himself after 5. Pac has a big chance on beating floyd.
3 inch punches? :huh WTF? You do realize that those punches has WAY MORE SPEED & POWER than Floyd's pity-pat punches?
We could of been found this question out if Pac didn't run away from this fight. Truthfully I don't know which guy is faster, but I do know which guy is more gifted with talent and skill. Even if Pac is slightly faster, Floyd timing and can make up for it. His defense and counter abilities can be the defining factor in this fight. What we don't know is, if Pac can adapt when he sees that just plane aggression isn't enough.
Floyd will suffer a mental breakdown and heart attack just in case finally he has the balls to face Pacquaio. Pac can neutralize Floyd speed by his own speed. Pac will beat Floyd one pot shot with his fast powerful combination. Pac has the chin to take Floyd punches but I don't think he has against Pac punches. Pac has the stamina to match Floyd stamina. Floyd excellent defense can be match by Pac excellent offensive. I see this fight everything as equal but Pac having the experiences beating those he avoided/their common opponents the worst and better way plus Pac many times a better fighter than those Floyd fought. I can see Pac winning this fight.
No one here talks about Pac's feint? This is one of his best assets and will render Floyd pot shooting ineffective. In fact, Pac will counter the hell out of Floyd's pot shots with his initiation of feints.
:deal Marquez knows all about Pac's feints The broken rhythm used in pac's style that I was explaining earlier incorporates a lot of very fast feinting.
I agree in a sense. But khan is pretty quick himself and they are sparring partners. So he has had at least some experience with speed and reach. i think floyd offers alot more then just speed. but ur right i can see manny struggling to get within range. on the flip side I think floyds problem is gonna be when he backs up and gets caught flat footed. Ortiz did this to him a cppl of times and i dont think manny is going to be so forgiving at those moments.
i like this one...pac's feint... in pac-jmm 1...the first knockdown came off from a feint.... mosley got froze from a feint....that let to the kd....
..MORE importantly PACQUIO never underestimates his opponents! I think it's the other way around?! Can PBF cope up with the speed of Pacquio?!
The feint pretty much has controlled every pacquiao fight ever since he beat de lahoya. Pacquiao has mastered it and added it to his already oversized tool bag. and by tool bag, I mean his *****
i was about to say the same thing....but....remember judah?? some say judah is faster than pac/pbf....
Floyd doesn't underestimate his opponents either. Floyd has the tools to cope with Manny's speed better than Manny has to cope with Floyd's. How do you deal with hand speed? First you deal with it with a jab which will offset your opponent. Floyd has the jab to do that to Manny, but Manny doesn't have that for Floyd.
but pac throws some wierd punches from weird angles.... i wonder if floyd gets befuddled with that...pac aint that textbook fighter floyd has been dominating....
