Yes the judges are professional and this is their occupation.

One of them believe like so many fans that Bhop won the fight.

this is so true, Joes so called punches were pathetic that night.

His father knew he was losing , his corner speaking tells it all.

    this...^

Froch built his name by constantly slagging Calzaghe...

Calzaghe beat Hopkins and would totally embarrass Froch...

Anyone suggesting that either of the fighters won "clearly" are trying to rewrite reality. You can point at the conclusions of future historians as your back up all you like. My belief is that those people will have more importent things to do then trying to clear up the controversial mess Hopkins created with his spoling tactics.

Oh please. Stick to discuss what happened during the rounds instead of making things up. Joes annoying daddy tried to push his fighter to score a stoppage, because he could see it was a close fight. Thats not the same thing as believing Hopkins was the rightfull winner.

Joe have always been mocked for his slapping, but it gets the job done. Just like Floyds ducking low or Wards mouling on the inside. And Hopkins is a big fan of dirty tactics, so who is he to complain about it?

By the way, after the fight Hopkins agreed that Joes slaps is a kind of skill. Since he is a genuine winner, it is natural for him to understand such a thing. Not for his fans, though.

Joe blatantly refused a rematch for a reason, last fight was too close to call.

He proceeded to fight Roy Jones JR, same guy Joe trashed in his book at the time , as being "completly finished"

I had it 114-113 for Hopkins after reviewing it carefully (slow motion & HD) giving Hopkins rounds 1-4, 7, and 10. Of course a point deduction from Calzaghe in the 1st for the KD.

Lots of high profile boxers and sports journalist predicted Jones to kick Calzaghes ass. The trauma on the American side after Hopkins losing was after all epic. Before the fight Jones was assumed to be on "the decline". After he was declared "shot to ****". Just like Euband was (at the age of 31!) after Calzaghe dealt with him. For some reason people just cant stand Joe.

A rematch was called for, in terms of resume. Joe just could not be arsed. I dont think it is a big deal to be honest.

:patsch So you think a fighter who was outlanded in every round deserved a decision .
Hopkins only landed one real big power shot at the end of round 7 which looked better because it landed after an illegal headbutt. The KD punch wasnt a massive shot, just well timed. So what are all these punches you refer of?

Understands :think. A fighter who backs off, lands less, has to hang on repeatedly and gets puched and manuvered round. Yeah got it

    Calzaghe close but clear decision.
Just for note there was a poll on here some time ago and if I remember correctly about 75% of esb users thought Calzaghe won the fight.

Cal won and I felt Hopkins performance and theatrics was embarrassing and to me clearly showed that he couldnt handle Calzaghe minus the early knockdown.

Froch has been calling out Cal for years and that video is part of that imo.

I'm sure the ones saying Hopkins got a KD and won the first four rounds of the fight and so he won, are the same saying that Pascal didnt deserve the draw even with his two KD and the fact that he won the first four rounds...
