Wladimir is Steward´s No 1 like Lewis. So nothing wrong with the decision.

Or maybe the training schedules are clashing? You know, like the statement is evidently claiming?

Do you, like, never bother to consider the facts on a subject? Even when they're there blatantly presented to you? Or do you prefer to dream up random bull****?

Dawson, now Cotto, both fighters hired Steward in the hopes he could help manuever them to another level, yet both dump them before that level is even reached.
Its happened in the past with Steward as well. Jermaine Taylor did the same with Steward.

Way back, Evander hired Steward to work with him and both parted ways. Money was the issue back then, I'm wondering whether money and Steward's demand for too big a chunk of it lead to his dismissal with Cotto and Dawson.

Is Steward currently busy and guiding Wlad through another waltz?

he sounds more like a nutritionist/fitness type than a proper coach/trainer. It would be like having Alex Ariza as your coach. Cotto is going to need some strategic advice to keep up from falling into any old patterns or habits that got him into trouble against Margarito last time.

Cotto is always in good shape and always comes strong and ready. He needs a trainer to work on the tactical side of things more than a fitness expert. This may come back to haunt him.

Has this guy ever trained a pro?

cotto's just being stubborn he's so introverted its ridiculous, he hates bringing people into his little circle.

great thing about steward is he might not be the greatest pad man but he selects great sparring partners, he had cotto sparring with some great young hungry up and comers in boxing to prepare for foreman and mayorga.

with santiago he sparred some 40 year old man and a white guy i've never heard of.
