I've heard different dates being proposed for the fight, both summer (probably June) and fall (probably September) 2012. I have a tough time seeing Floyd let Khan take a tuneup if the fight is signed, especially if it's scheduled for June 2012. Remember Mayweather always talking about the time it takes to promote and buildup a big PPV event? I don't see him saying "oh Khan can take a tuneup in March to get used to 147 before we fight in June". Khan can lose, or get a little better adapted to the weight. Either way, it does nothing for Floyd.

Great fighters take on their main rivals to become immortal, these guys are making boxing a laughing stock... so yes, they most definitely are a disgrace to past great fighters. Also, how the **** are these two good for the sport ?.... what sort of message are they sending by being the best & refusing to fight each other ? If you have no problem with the way these fkn idiots are treating us fans then we`re pretty much done here.
Every casual fan asks me when they are going to fight. The fight is long overdue and both sides are far too happy to make great money (just not as great as they would against each other, but huge money regardless) with much easier fights like Mayweather-Ortiz/Khan and Pacquiao-Mosley/Bradley. And we are being enablers. People still buy these other fights regardless.
can't believe I'm agreeing with you. Khan Floyd is a decent fight, but it has to happen down the road. Right now Khan would get outclassed. Enough with these pointless shitty fights and make the big one happen. If Pac Floyd dont happen in 2012 it's going to be a big F U to the boxing fans . In 2013 these guys will be way past their primes and it won't even be about the legacy anymore. Only in f'n boxing.
