Cant believe some of the ****ish comments slating Appleby on this forum over the last few days. I gave him no chance in this fight but he showed he still has alot to offer on the domestic scene. Congratulations to both men for giving us a small hall classic.

It doesn't. Both men did themselves proud whatever the outcome. For what it's worth, I don't think Appleby made the call anyway. After Billy Nelson waves the fight off to the referee, you can see Appleby in the corner still shaking his head to himself. Makes me think he wanted to go on. I reckon he'd just given so much that he was too knackered to protest more animatedly! Good decision though.
