SMM has already won. doubt he cares. best for him to focus on biggest $ fights and continue his great efforts outside the ring.
The HOF is nothing special and the hotel across the road is musky and damp.
In Reality it's special but don't make Marvillia feel bad.

    W Geale
    W Sturm
    W Pirog
    W Cotto
    W Ward

In addition to what he's got, that'd do it...

He does have to accomplish A LOT in what we presume to be the final couple years of his career in order to get into the HOF, in my opinion.

i agree with what you say about hopkins and hagler i was just making a comparison how they were able to secure two of their biggest fights with guys coming up to the weight class

if he beat Floyd or Manny or both that would be huge for his standing

He can start scouting for a time machine.

It is his ****ing fault that he started too late..And look at who the **** he is fighting these days?? It appears that he is not in a hurry himself..

I dunno, Tyson gets ATG credibility from a period of three years fighting, it's plausible.

You guys realize that fighters like Barry McGuigan are in the hall of fame, right?

Martinez will be a shoe-in if he just finishes his career out.

He'd have to pull a B-Hop. Who knows, we may be asking the question "Has he done enough" in 10 years

it's too late. We are in an era where guys fight once or twice a year. He's a good fighter. No shame in not making the hall of fame.

I think if Martinez beats Sturm to Unify then beats someone at 168 for a Belt i cant see why he should not get in.
