He means Lewis wasn't blowing his money on many different women. You know, the reason Holyfield is broke now. And Holyfield is not sensible.

Briggs apparently generates a good income without boxing.

There aren't too many are there.

It's just a shame some boxers does not have the foundation to maintain a healthy, economic lifestyle after their careers are done for.

Many fighters lose something after they retire, that edge... hence why so many go and venture into the world of drugs.

Yep, Golota retired a very wealthy cat. Quite surprising, given his ring IQ. Then again, Golota was always a bag of contradictions.

I know that this thread is about living boxers, but Marciano was a notorious tight wad, who had plenty of money before he died.

1 million ain't ****. You need at least 100 million to be considered wealthy now. You could retire well on 10 million however if you don't have a lot of kids like Holyfield.

yeah, that is what i meant. as far as i know lennox lewis has been with the same woman for a lot of years.
women and divorce's are very expensive, shane mosley knows that. i imagine mike tyson has wasted a lot of money on women.
joe calzaghe went through a divorce round about the time he fought mario viet, if im not mistaken joe's ex wife was entitled to half of his money as well as a percentage of his FUTURE earnings.
joe did ok for himself though in his last 4 or five fights.

I hear that's a bit of an urban legend spread by Hulk Hogan himself. The grill manufacturer has disputed that they ever got in touch with Hulk.

Larry Holmes made several times more money investing in real estate than he did in the ring. The man is extremely wealthy.
