Walking forwards, taking shots/risks, sucker punching, ripping Larry Live on HBO just after winning.

This is not the cool, controlled boxer Floyd of old. :think

    What you guys think?

I was very surprised that he came forward all night against Mosley, even after being stunned...that fight in itself is why I don't think FMJ is scared of Pacquiao in a "I'm gonna get my ass kicked" way...it's been said over and over, but his primary concern seems to be losing that 0, whether its a legit loss, or a robbery - which is very possible, btw. A fight that is as close as De La Hoya was would in all likelihood, go to Pac...

...sucker punching and ripping Larry Merchant? Wasn't surprised by that at all whatsoever. It was the same old Mayweather, only he looked a lot less patient than usual.

It's funny because when floyd pop shots all day people call him a runner and boring, when he stands and trade people say floyd no longer has his legs and he easy to hit. LMAO

:patsch First of all newb, it's pot-shot. Pop shot is what you do when you pretend to be an adult with a coke and a shot glass.

Second, those two are weak generalizations. But that's to be exopected. Your area of expertise, if one can call it that, is making pointless comments on what you thinkfans think, and posting irrelvent pics in threads. You're a boon to this board.

The point being coming forwards and being more hittable/open is a ballsy move from Floyd one which makes him look more beatable.

But does'nt that take away what Floyd was best at, safety first and protect that 0.

Respect to Floyd for fighting like that, but other fighters like Pacman would like him to come on.

Some guy made a prediction or something of sorts and said that if Floyd tried to run around the ring and outbox Pacquiao he would probably lose. He felt Floyd has to stand his ground and just pick the slightly smaller dude apart.

I think he was tired of being called a runner and boring, Uncle Roger told him he no longer has to back up from these WW's as he is big enough now to walk them down, I think floyd has realised this aspect now, especially since he spars with big JMW's.

It's only counterproductive when you're doing things to hurt yourself. So far I don't see any signs of Floyd jeopardizing his career. How can he be "losing it" when he's making $40 mil and is still considered one of the best if not the best boxer in the game today?
