No I put the bank on Pac after seeing Forbes break Oscars Orbital Bone, showing decreased punch resistence, his shitty/slow mitt work on 24/7 was the icing on the cake, he drained weight trying to gain speed allegedly but, his startegy was to come forward and try to overpower Manny, he was simply a man without a home in that fight, and strategy lacked direction, and he got the beating of his life for that
no they didn't he's a jerky quick guy, he's barely throwing any punches, and he doesn't have gloves on. those guys look like lightning when they aren't trying to land on a world class opponent in front of them. there's about six seconds where he throws consistently, short, non extended punches, I can't count more than 40-45 punches in the first 20 seconds of the video.
Force= mass x acceleraton. Many people think you need to have the brawny physique of a miguel cotto or a jeanpascal to generate devestating power. This is the 'mass' factor of the equation. The acceleration factor is a multiplier though. When fighters have weight restrictions keeping them all of similar mass, speed makes all the difference in the world. If - for instance, a 180lb fighter throws his punches as 30mph, and a 140lb fighter throws his at 60mph, the 140lb fighter may be putting more force behind his punches (assuming things like technique and timing are equal). This is why prime zab's straight rights or jones's blistering straights or check hooks obliterate same weighted opposition. This is also, i think, what made mike tyson so savage.
dude.....pac is lighting regardless. Not everyone can produce the kind of speed pac does even if its shadow boxing. Just like when Floyd hits the more and does the routine with Roger.....its not full punches but the speed isn't easily duplicated.
Floyd's technique is **** when doing the Kurt work with roger:smoke just saying.....we have a lot of Sunday morning quarterback going full tilt.
he looks balanced to me- his upper body and lower body have grown more muscular as he s gotten older , but in proportion, so he s maintained his balance and technique. like a tyson, roy, and floyd- all amazingly well proportioned athletes- and the physical attributes that come as a result of it reflect that.
Not as the fast like Pacquiao that fought Cotto. Pac is getting older now but he still whoops JMM in a close fight.
Yeah, I knew he had huge calves before, but before the Cotto weighin I never realized how big his legs were! When he took the track pants off I was like WTF?! Guy weighs 145, and his legs are like 75% of his body weight! This is the reason he's so damn strong, and has moved up in weight class so well. That's where a lot of boxers suck. Guys like Berto, and Ortiz have huge upper bodies, but no stable legs underneath them. Pac keeps his upper body slim, and toned, while putting a lot of weight in his legs. The video on this thread though...His upper body looks a lot bigger as well. I feel sorry for JMM. Looks like he's fighting a bodybuilder who just so happens to be the P4P #1 fighter in the world, and although he's huge as hell... Still is faster than almost everyone on the planet.
