Carlos Monzon's resume

There is apparently some footage but you will struggle to find it i have looked all over for Monzons earlier fights and with a career set you are lucky to get his last 12 fights.

I had read that there were VHS sold in Argentina with some of his mid-late 60s fights but i have yet to find any.

 

He gave Napoles a thumb and who knows what's more , I might have rated him a bit 2 high in my vote . Needing 2 cheat against such a smaller man is a bad bad sign

Listen Popkins get over it, me and a load of lads in the lounge speak like that all the time, I thought it was common knowledge that we do, we **** around and come out with extreme comments that people don't take serious. I'm over our 'feud', I'm not having an internet beef, which is pathetic. I honestly thought you'd forgotten about that comment and that's why I asked you the question on here about Monzon/Duran, I was simply asking, I had no agenda what so ever, I haven't posted regular in the lounge for the best part of a year and didn't think that anyone was even too familiar with my older posting style of crucifying posters on their wording etc, I don't even do that anymore, that's not what I was aiming to do. I only read the opening post and was just asking you, I was being sincere and not being a ***** at all. If you want to continue holding a grudge then ok, I'm not going to though.

You replied telling me I shouldn't have read into the words I did etc, and I replied saying sorry etc and that I approached you respectfully, and ende my post with 'no damage done', then I commented on the part of your post that spoke on defending fighters etc, and you started replying saying 'yawn' and 'double yawn' etc, even Swarmer called you out for being out of order, and I thought it was out of order so I started being a ****, yes I did start to spit venom at that point.

I become a ***** when a slanging match starts, yes, that is my flaw. I actually think we shoud just knock it on the head and be able to debate fully with each other from here on in, truce? There's no point in us not speaking to each other, it's stupid, I'm not trying to add you on facebook or get a cyber **** mate, let's just forget the whole thing. You can reply to any of my posts and I probably will reply to any of yours that I'm interested in so I'd appreciate a reply, we're both known for good debate so let's just forget about the bull**** we've partaken in.
