Would you be ok with Floyd fighting Margarito?

Floyd wouldn't even come close to doing what Pac and Mosley did to Margarito.

Simple matter of styles.

Cotto, Margarito are career welterweights, who fought who's who in those division. They might not have won all of those fights, but they never lost to nobodies.

It is one of the things I criticized about Ortiz. He actually had 1 solid fight as welter, against another fighter who is basically unproven at welterweight, or basically unproven at any weight.

If anybody think this fight should not happen because the results are foregone conclusion, then Mayweather should never fight anybody. They should just start adding up wins in his resume.

 

I felt this fight would have been boring years ago, and I still feel that way.

If you are so strict with such criteria, then how would you defend when someone said, "Why was he fighting Ortiz when Maidana already fought him?

Or why did he fight Oscar when Bernard Hopkins already KOed him?"

Or is the thought that only Pac should be fighting "leftovers". Mayweather is fighting Pac's sparring partners - Ortiz and Amir Khan (soon)

Sparring partner is less than leftover in my humble opinion.

If he fights fighters that people are saying he is ducking, eventually people will run out of names or start naming fighters that are really nowhere as credible!!!

Example - Nobody can say Pac is ducking Cotto or Margarito - because he fought them.

So people are now saying he is ducking Martinez or Tim Bradley (before he started ducking Amir Khan)

 

You're opinion dont mean **** because you're stupid. You do know that top level boxers spar with eachother dont you? Morales sparred with Floyd Mayweather? Oscar sparred with Mosley. Margarito sparred with Paul Williams. Pac and Khan are in the same camp, of course they are gonna spar to improve one another.
