Resume is who you beat. Not who kicks your ass. Take out Williams and Mosley who beat him easy, and Martinez who was barely professional, and you're left with Clottey, who lost to Baldomir, in a fight I scored a draw, Cotto who he cheated, and ****ing Cintron.

yes, and he got his ass kicked against most of them or resorted to plastering his fists to win.

Another example of why most fans do this when discussing Floyd's ZERO:roll:

All his fights at 147 were cherrypicked.

That's what happens when you fight all the top fighters and big threats out there and NOT cherry pick.:deal

Yeah, Daniel Santos- Elite Competition. Random bums on the street- Elite competition.

Must have been losing to that elite competition that made him cheat.

    Jesus!!!

Why do you always make youself more idiotic than you already have for the sake of defending Gayweather.

Nobody is saying Margarito is greater than Gayweather, so rein in your hormones.

This is as simple as comparing welterweights resumes!!!!!

God!!! Do you always have to defend Gayweather.

It's as simple as saying Mayweather was great in a different division. Does he have to be the greatest at 135, 140, 147 and 154 too?

He really only has two bad losses. Paul Williams was a respectable loss, the guy nobody wanted to fight... one in which Margo started slow, came on strong, Williams pulled it out in that last round. Both fighters walked away from that fight reputation intact.

Anyway, poll results are a fair reflection of reality.

Basically you have Margarito's best wins - Cotto (KO), Cintron x2(KO), Clottey, green Martinez (KO); his 3 titles, 7 defences; with extra credit for consistently having fought the best; minus the negative impact of his losses

    vs

Mayweather best wins - Mosley (UD), Baldomir (UD), Judah (UD), Ortiz (SPKO), Hatton (KO); his 3 titles, 1 defence; plus extra credit for being undefeated.

It's close, Margarito having put in the more work deserving of the nod.

Floyd would break his fragile hands on Margo's head.
