i scored the fight 115-111 pacquaio pacquaio was robbed of the win by the judge who only scored 10-7 in the first round when marquez was knocked down 3 times. the judge jutras who had it 115-110 marquez should have explained his card as that means pacquaio only won 1 round aftet the 10-6 opening round. marquez fought an outstanding fight considering what happened in the first. I gave pacquaio the first and 2nd so by then he was a massive 5 points behind. by the end of round 7 though i only had marquez 1 point down , marquez counter punching abilty had pacquiao snookered. as expected pacquaio came back into the fight from the middle to late rounds. marquez best round was the 11. my final round scoring was 6-5-1 pacquaio 10-6 pacquaio 10-9 pacquaio 9-10 marquez 9-10 marquez 9-10 marquez 9-10 marquez 10-10 draw.....both landed big punches especially late in round 10-9 pacquaio 10-9 pacquaio 10-9 pacquaio 9-10 marquez 10-9 pacquaio it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see what that 1st round did to the scoring but as mentioned i cant see how the judge had it 115-110 marquez.
It's not compulsory for a judge to score that first round 10-6, is it? I thought they're allowed to stop at 10-7 if they feel the victim of the knockdowns will be buried behind on points to the point where it'll be almost impossible to make a comeback?
the judge on HBO ledderman said that you get an extra point for every knockdown so pacquaio wins the round 10-9 but with 3 knockdows you take another 3 points off which makes the scoing 10-6 for that round
Yeah, I get that. But isn't there a rule in place which allows a judge to stop at 10-7 if he wants to?
i though manny was landing the cleaner and better punches although from round 7-10 the rounds were very close. ledderman of HBO gave manny 5 of the last 6 rounds , i had it 4-1-1 pacquaio for those rounds
In that case, Pac should have got the split decision victory: This content is protected And that 115-110 judge in favour of JMM seems way off. I know JMM won the majority of the rounds after the first, but to say Pac only deserved one? That's not how I saw things, from what I remember.
The PAC-JMM 1 and PAC-JMM 2 should be compulsory final exams to people who want to become pro boxing referee
