Welterweight contender Kell Brook is beaing head-hunted by Sky to take over from the likes of Amir Khan and David Haye as the next superstar boxer to make the transition to Sky Box Office to earn the mega pay-days that his predecessors have enjoyed.

The undefeated 25 year-old aims for his 25th professional victory on Saturday night at the Ponds Forge Arena in Sheffield knowing that a win over Rafal Jackiewicz puts him first in line to meet WBA champion Vyacheslav Senchenko.

“The main thing about Saturday is to win and look good,” Brook told the Sheffield Telegraph.

“All of my life I have had pressure. Sky Sports are hitting on me because they want me to be a pay-per-view star.

“This sort of pressure comes with the job - it is when you don’t have people and the press talking about you that you should worry.”

Jackiewicz, 34, has lost nine of 48 bouts, although only one in the last six years and comes into the bout on the back of two fairly easy wins. ‘Braveheart’ is a former European champion and world title challenger and has gone the distance with former world champion Jan Zaveck twice, beating him once.

Brook is yet to look and if he has then its been against a **** opponent. There is zero allure to Brook at the moment. I'll be watching but like **** will I watch him on PPV. He is somewhere between Witter and Naz. Sloppy, but not so sloppy that he can't get the job done. Talented, but not so talented that you really think this is the second coming of Naz.

People really need to get rid of this obsession with wanting to be "pay per view".

Before even winning a British title, Khan was convinced he deserved pay per view.. he then got flattened in a minute.

DeGale won about 10 fights mostly against journeymen and then believed he was box office before getting outboxed by an equally average 'prospect'.

David Haye was so obsessed with his fame and his newly found pay per view status that he completely forgot exactly what got him there and ended up an embarrassment.

As for Kell Brook.. let's not even go there.

You don't just become pay per view. It doesn't work like that.

Promoter/boxers are obsessed with TV, they have forgotten selling tickets/building a fanbase.

Brook is never a PPV star, one he looks half asian, which is never going to bring the British public in, Khan was one off due to the Olmypics even he struggles. Also he has a homosexual voice, which again is not a good thing for a Boxer.

Also hes boring in & out the ring, i don't get the excitement, hes so vastly overrated it makes me cringe. Can't wait till he loses and everyone stfu about him.

PPV on a late night Gay Movie Channel is Kell's best chance I reckon.

That or run into Manny or Floyd & get embaressed!
