    ...If pacquiao were to fight ortiz, would it be considered "fighting floyd's leftovers", or due to the nature in which the fight ended would it be appropriate. Not saying the way the fight ended wasn't right btw.

    It would be good ammunition for *****s'
    But no i don't think so. Because the fight ended controversially. And i'm on the opinion that Ortiz was in the fight up untill the KO.

    However, I wouldn't want that fight. Ortiz had his shot and blew it by headbutting. He needs to get back in line and buid up to another megafight.

    Floyd would ofcourse say that Pac is fighting his leftovers. His fans would likely say the same.

    Ortiz doesn't even need to be a Floyd left-over to be considered a **** opponent for Pac. Besides, he's a Maidana left-over, first and foremost :deal

    Losing (even spectacularly) shouldn't make one fighter another fighter's leftovers. It's a sport, people lose. Get over it.

    Lol I see *******s already justifying this. Pac had the chance to fight Ortiz b4 Floyd did, but he decided to fight Juan at 144 instead, so Floyd got him

    Pac definitely had plenty of chances to fight Ortiz seeing as they were sparring partners before.

    I don't really see Pac wanting to make money from fighting his sparring partner and then selling it to fans as a mega-fight although Bob will probably jump at the idea if it was the most profitable fight available.

    Then again Bob does prefer in-house fights.
