Many of you may disagree with my choices but thats not important I want to know some case where you felt on fighter was carrying the other to reach the final bell.

    Mayweather vs JMM

    Pac vs Mosely

    Calzaghe vs Jones

I think each one of these fights could have ended with PBF, Pac or Calzaghe stepping up there work rate and getting a TKO maybe not KOing there opponent but still getting the ref to step in.

    Name some more

Vitali - Adamek. Vitali carried him approximately the entire fight. Adamek obviously didn't make the final bell but damn Adamek was being carried through the rounds lol

of the OP's 3 I only agree with the Floyd JMM one

Joe had a high work rate vs Jones just couldnt stop him

Mosley ran Manny didnt know how to cut it off

Id say the Margo fight is closer i mean he did kinda take his foot off the gas

I think Holmes tried with Ali

According to Burt Bienstock (I believe it was him, esteemed classic forum poster) Sugar Ray Robinson carried a past his best Henry Armstrong to the final bell in their 1943 fight.

Edit: They didn't fight in 932 years time.

floyd tried to ko jmm, he said it himself. he just couldn't with potshotting, jmm was still fighting back until the end.

pac was trying to finish off shane as well specially after the wrong kd call in round 10, he just didn't do a good job cutting of the ring while shane was aggressively backing away.

That's fair enough I respect that, I certainly wouldnt have said Margo I think he would have hung in there just enough to get the keep the ref from stopping the fight but that's your opinion

always puzzled me this, the only reason i can think of is that they are holding on for the win and dont want to walk into a lucky punch and get ko`d at this late stage when they know they are miles ahead on the cards.if you thought it might be close and you see you opponent is for the taking you would then go in for the kill just to make sure of the W.:think

i thought Vitali let up on Briggs in the last round after giving the ref that "why not stop it now?" look in the round before.
