Just wondering what other think of this because ive been told that i dont need to try and drop down to 56 kg because im not too small for 60 kg and that id be better off at the weight then at 56kg. But i personally think im too short for the weight class:S what do you think is 5'6 too short?

yeah mate it is short but there are two kids at 60 and 5ft 6 and have got to national finals. Jack Raines of rumbles abc in kent and shane govan of leigh park abc in portsmouth but some kiddiies like brett beadon are 6ft 1 so it ranges but 5ft6 is probably the bottom end of it.Then again the home counties aba champion dave leo of cheshunt is 5ft 4ins! so if your good enough ya big enough

I'm 5ft7/8 and fight at 63kg. My opponents are generally just 2 inches taller, maybe sometimes 3.

It's a tad bit short for young weight cutting fighters. I knew a 5'10'' guy that made 132 lbs somehow and still looked pretty strong, but obviously he had no legs.

When I started I made 54 kg easy at 5'8'' but I liked 58-60 much much more, felt much stronger and more punch resistant, you need to find the weight you feel not only quickest but most punch resistant, I got hurt more at the lower weights than at the higher ones because I felt a little bit sick at those weights.

sorry for hijacking, but do you guys no why i weigh so much.75-80kg 5'10 have a bit of a belly, and big thighs but i dont see much muscle mass on my chest, shoulders and my neck isnt big, back is quite thick. how the hell could i weigh so much, theres no weigh i would even think of fighting in the light heavy division
