How bad would Mike Tyson beat Joe Frazier?

60-40 in favor for Tyson.

I'd be rooting for Frazier though.

 

I smell some hardcore nuthugging in here, let me ask, did Tyson ever show that he could cope with the pressure of a one of the greatest peressure fighters of all time in Frazier. No he did not, did he ever show he could deal with an inside fighter as good as Joe Frazier. Absolutely not so hop off tysons nuts everyone, cause to be honest Frazier would blast Tyson everytime.

 

Can't see Frazier making it out of 4. However, if he does, he's gonna tire Tyson with the body attack and the constant, never-ending pressure. If it somehow makes it out of I'll say 5, then Frazier wins TKO.

 

If Frazier's strategy for the fight would be to make Tyson fall in love with him and then dump him so he's heart broken, I don't think it's gonna work man. He'll need plan B.

I'd take Frazier. Tyson's reign included no one as good as Frazier, no one as persistent as Frazier and certainly no one with as much "I ain't afraid of you" as Frazier.

Frazier's not an ATG, but his skills are being underrated in this thread. The guy had very fast hands, pressured the hell out of people, and could flat out crack like no one Tyson ever fought.

Frazier's stronger mental attributes wins out in a fight between fighters with similar skills and styles. It would be similar to Tyson Holyfield. FRazier wouldn't back down, wouldn't wilt as soon as he got touched, and would keep coming. That means Tyson does wilt.

I have high respect for Frazier, but I am afraid I have to agree with the majority here. Tyson is bad medicine for Frazier. It would be short and brutal in all likelihood.

I love Frazier but it is a terrible match up for him ... fighting a faster, murderous punching , lightning fast starter ... I agree he has to survive early but could he ? I'd have to favor MIke ..

After walking face-first through/ soaking up some canny mint haymaker-combos from Tinkerbell Tyson for teh first 5 Rounds while grinning, tapping his chin And asking for more, Joey increases his cracking of teh glass body of Tinfoil,, Smokey Joey beats teh living crap outta Tyson worse than Holyfield did... cos Frazier has v.much better power (by ****ing miles!!!), stamina, headmovements/defense And output of punches then Holyfeild. So my guess is Frazier KO8 Tyson with an bigass haymaker left-hook. :dead A few minutes later, a Tipsy Tyson wakes up. :tired Tired And Ready for teh hospital bed. And it would take a couple of weeks for Mikey to be dandy enough to party with his ghetto homies again. :rasta
