    :lol: I know Lujan, but the last I saw of him he was looking less then impressive and it had seemed he was at the end of the road as far as being a good gatekeeper type fighter?... But I havent been keeping too close of track :think

    Rule change on the tournament, you dont have to have all your picks in early, we will just take the weeks as they come, when the two matched together have a differing fight, that will be chosen.

    Last week was a big bang, this week, eh, not so much. Solid enough week though. It’s a solid week, no real big big names, but a couple of up and coming prospects, and a couple of fights that can produce some fireworks. Also, since it isn’t a massive week, I’m going to do a little twist just to have some fun.     :bbb - 8 of us (may increase in the future, not sure how well it will be recieved so starting off with a low number) will square off in a single elimination tournament, that will bring the winner $50 (kirk $'s, lol) but more importantly, crown the first king, of the Leagues first tournament - :bbb

    It is a good fight, and enhances the PPV about as much as the highly anticipated Wolak-Rodriguez rematch IMO.

    Lujan is at least as good as Jesus Soto Karass, who of course made Jones say "Whooooooooooooooah, dude! Gnarly almost-wipeout!" (because Jones is now a surfer guy...:conf It's some sort of craze that seems to be sweeping through the ranks of the young welterweight lions. Jones is also a tree.)

    Do you remember whom against? :huh He's fairly consistent in his efforts - it's just that sometimes they're enough to win and sometimes he's just over-matched and they're not.


    His last fight was an awesome upset in a very good fight against pinoy prospect Mark Jason Melligen (who'd been on a nice run and gotten himself ranked).
