When I first saw Ricky Hatton, I just thought that its a good thing Manny is far away from this guy's weightclass cause this guy's gonna kill him inside the ring. Damn, how wrong was I back then.

Because Ricky Hatton, the recipient of the worst refereeing job I've ever seen in his fight against Kostya Tsyzu, could not possibly fathom that he was not an ATG as his family and friends were feeding him the most bull**** known to man. Before that fight, his father was bragging that once he won,he'd be considered the best p4p fighter in the world.Need I write more?

Ricky broke down because he felt he let down his entire country. Did you see the interviews they did before the fight. I think they had the UK prime minister telling him to win. I mean come on, if Barack Obama sends you a video message, and you go into the ring and get beat like a club fighter, you arent gonna feel good either.

The Mayweather loss was tough on him. Mayweather talked **** about him and said he was garbage, and Ricky thought he could walk through anything Floyd threw and he got KO'd. But whats different between that fight and the Manny one is people were telling Ricky it was a close fight, and Cortez cheated him. He had an excuse. Against Pacquiao he just got dominated no room for anyone to say anything but damn you got ****ed up.

He was pretty much the UK's biggest sports star at the time. Thats tough to take.

What funny to me how can you watch that fight and think Cotto had a chance? I think Cotto and Hatton were pretty even. Maybe Cotto was a little better.

because their's a lot of people talking about ricky like he's some sort of bum..... mocking him almost. you should STFU!!! he did better against mayweather than mosley, marquez or ortiz, and he beat tszyu and castillo. two world class fighters(even if they were past their best that still good)

just because he's had personal troubles recently people like to stick their nose in and talk ****, and discredit his whole career!

like it or not cocks! ricky had a fantasticly successful career with an exciting style that won him a lot of support all over the world. he beat guys with better skills because he had heart and determination and a willingness to take himself places that others wouldn't.

all he's shown now after the defeat to pacman is that he's human. he has vulnerabilities. but he's come through it in typical ricky fashion and now he looks 100 times better!

so what if he mentions pacman now and again.... whats he supposed to do bottle it up inside and suffer in silence?. remember a certain joe frazier? how he struggled to accept his ali defeats? you don't suddenly become, all humble and philosophical just because your career is over. you've spent your whole adult life being a competitor with huge pride and self belief..... then in ricky's case he got banged out in 2 rounds in the biggest fight of his life with the world watching!

don't start nit picking about his personality now... it makes you look like a grade A ****!!!

Well! I don't hate Hatton anyway even though a lot of people here do. I just tried to help him to forget his bitter past. Read my first post carefully then you'll see what i'm talking about now, but if you still don't like it then I have nothing left to say man.

This is no way to walk into a World Class fight. Mayweathers did him twice!

    :rofl:rofl

Some more of that good ol UK delusion.

Hatton was outclassed the whole Mayweather fight, never was in it, constnatnly being picked apart and dismantled until the end where his dumb ass jumped into the hook then the turnbuckle.

Mosley, Marquez, and even pathetic ass Ortiz had better showings than ****ing Hatton.

Being proud of beating a shot castillo at 140 is what Hatton fans cling too? LOL. Beating a half retired Koysta with help from the ref is what you all cling too.

What a island of idiots (well a lot of you, not all).
