Floyd Mayweather vs Aaron Pryor

i agree, Floyd's damn good and I don't want to take anything away from him, but he's never proved he can actually win a fight in the trenches against someone with a good chin and more power than he has. It's sort of along the lines of Mayweather - Duran, but Duran was even a better inside fighter than the Hawk was, mostly cause of his defense.

 

Right now there is nothing that Mayweather can't adjust to. The list of guys that can beat him is less than the fingers on your hand. There is a "however". The however is that we are talking about Mayweather of 2005. He has all the skills, but what about the experance?

On the other hand Pryor in my opinion is a bit overrated. I'm not saying that he's not any good just that he is made to be better than he is. He beat Antonio Cervantes and Alexis Arguello (twice), but what else has he done?

Its hard to gauge someone off of one fight, but I think Mayweather has he skills to beat anyone at 140. I like Mayweather by decision.

Manny can beat just about anyone cuz he's fast as fuk and has more power than I have ever seen..thats why he made it this far...but fighting guys coming off losses and washed bums is a major reason...what he has about 3 or 4 legitimate fights out of 50+pro fights?...Thats sad man...His record is a facade to me

 

If you think his record is a facade, that's ridiculous.

If he's the most powerful lighter wight fighter you've seen, you need to watch more boxing and educate yourself. I could easily list off countless fighters who possess more power than Pac division-by-division from 112 to 147.

How are u being honest when u and I kno just as much as ANY real boxing fan knows that he only fights guys coming off losses...or washed up....damn near EVERY One of his opponents were out of their prime or at a disadvantage....I always thought Manny was a good guy, a very good little fighter...but I just HATE and I mean HATE that people act like he's jesus...Manny is everything thats WRONG with Boxing...when u have a bum fight with Marques and ur able to bring 30,000+ fans to a mexican press conference and they actually think their guy has a legitimate chance of winning thats Bad...when u can sell a million ppvs with a bum fight With Mosly and Margarito thats BAD..Thats the problem with Boxing today...when u can duck Zahir, Austyn, Humberto and everyone acts like ur the perfect champion that has faced everyone at their best thats BADDD...I dislike Floyd as a person, but because he is a black legend I just pray for him and I support him...I dont have to agree with everything he does...I just pray for him because I uplift my brothers...but when it comes to Floyd as a fighter he does a damned good job....but everytime he fights people discredit him...if he fights Martinez everyone will say he looked bad in his last fight and thats why he is fighting him...I just HATE pacman because he gets a way with murdering boxing just because he is nice and like able...and he openly admits he can make 135 EASILY...THEN WHY THE FUK ARE U FIGHTING HIS OLD ASS AT WELTERWEIGHT?...And everyone is talking about its going to be the fight of the yr and all this nonesne..I almost wish DEATH on pacman...or even worse...I wish MAYWEATHER On Pacman...and Arum is protecting him yet evewryone blames Floyd...I dont even blame Manny for the fight not happening..Manny is scared shitless of Floyd but he is a FIGHTER AND fighters FIGHT...Manny is scared of Floyd but because he is a FIGHTER, He is willing to get his ass up in their...I lame ARUM for the fight not happening but I HATE how everyone blames Floyd just cuz he's a jerk...Manny is the biggest fake in boxing history and he is wasting his asswhooping abilities on these circus fights...he will regret it once his career is over...and u tell me ur being honest...GTFO U biased clown!

I have some advice for you. And before I give it to you, I didn't read your post because I don't pay attention to uneducated stupid ****s like yourself. You don't know ****. You either watched MTV cribs with Floyd and decided to start watching boxing or your parents signed up for HBO and you decided to start watching fights a year or two ago. Yup, not worth my time, because unlike you, I know the sport. I care about it's history and could give a rat's ass about a pointless Pacquiao-Mayweather casual fan debate.
