The 2000-2003 Shane Mosley vs. the 1985 Donald Curry. Who wins?

    What a pile of ****.

I favour...Mosley. Curry was a beautiful boxer but I think Shane has that power, durability, speed and inside strength to trouble Curry. I genuinely think he stops a prime Starling level Curry in about 8.

I'll rightfully be butchered for this pick I think.

no starling and curry were both a league above shane, shane is'nt rubbish he drops decisions to both of those 2 but makes it competitive

    You said it ,

Curry was a really great boxer and would be just too much class for Mosley. Mosley would be looking confused by the 8th nothing more.

Ok, I'll state it before I bring these two fights up. Honeyghan isn't too much like Shane but is a man who had the speed and overhand right to trouble Curry and hurt him. Shane has bags of speed and his overhand right is perhaps his best punch along with the left hook. In the Norris fight, Curry was the smaller man yes, but Norris too possesses the speed, combinations and power that hurt and beat Curry. Shane was one of the most impressive combination punchers with bags of speed and power during his era.

I just think Shane is way too physical for Curry and I don't think Curry could cope with the intangibles that Shane is bringing. Curry will of course have success but I don't think he will either dispose of Shane or have the durability to last the distance. He'll just be overwhelmed in my opinion.

Curry is too skilled for Mosley. He'd have Mosley wearing the same look on his face he had in the Forrest/Wright fights. Discouraged.

I consider Curry in his best form to be a better technician than Forrest, especially on the inside, and Winky Wright. Don't think Mosley would be able to get to a peak Curry enough to slow him down and would wind up losing a wide decision.

curry is more skilled and the better boxer but i have to pick mosley, i think he had the speed and power to trouble curry, more of a gut feeling than anything

Donald Curry never faced near Mosleys opposition. Mosley is a different class in his prime.

LOL. I think we know who just started following the sport.

85 Curry beats Mosley, by clear UD. And why 2002-2003 Mosley?

PRIME Mosley was the 99-01 Mosley.

In any case, Curry beats any version of Mosley.
