If Khan was Black he would be one of the biggest stars in the country, I'm from near Bolton (and White) and the amount of people who want to see him get KO'd because of his race is incredible! At the Barrera fight most of the White people were wearing Mexican flags or Sombreros. He get the label of arrogant because of the common ****stani stereotype, most British sport stars would learn a lot from Amir Khan, he is a credit to the sport and Britian, shame most Brits don't realise it

    thats bull****

i've been to enough boxing events to know people actually love khan.

in groves vs degale i got into an argument (a friendly one of course) with a bunch of white guys who claimed khan would 'thrash' mayweather but the same group of guys hated david haye for some reason.

I'm not saying boxing fans don't like him, he is well respected but he hasn't got the crossover appeal, people who tune in to watched Hatton, Calzaghe, Haye etc arent all boxing fans, I doubt many ever watch a small hall show, but he isn't popular with the fair weather fans that just watch the big shows. Maybe it's cos there is a high level of resentment towards British Asians in the highly populated areas, but he is not popular, he is a unified champion, you think he is even gonna get shortlisted for sports personality of the year? Haye got nominated last year for beating Harrison...

you think carl froch chose to fight in unknown channels?

he's fight with pascalw as on itv4 and it was one of the best fights of that year but no one gave a ****.

No I don't think he chose to fight on those channels, I think he had an incompetent promoter, but surely the fact he is little know is because nearly all of these amazing World title fights he has been in, have been on Internet streams or Primetime,
