How is Mundine fighting for the interim title?

    I know this will attract smart arse responses like every other Mundine thread, but Im looking for a serious answer.

    Isnt Trout the Interim Champion, and Cotto is the Super Champion?

    Or has something changed?

    Or does the WBA now have an interim, interim champion?

    Why ? Because boxing is a complete joke of a sport these days run by crooks. These boxing organisations are causing the death of the sport.

    Cotto super champ trout regular champ interim is vacant whatever the fk that means a disgrace the WBA

    Your best bet would be to contact the WBA and let them attempt to justify it. Gone beyond caring at this stage.

    So they can get more sanction fees, then again Mundines fight with Ryan Waters i think it was, was advertised as an interantional belt yet it was never sanctioned, so probably more false advertising.

    Trout was never interim titlist. He defended his world belt in June, so I guess he can't be forced into mandatory against Mundine just yet

    you are right, and its dying at at grass roots level. once apon a time, the average joe could name the champ of at leat 4 ivisions. now most are struggling to name the heavyweight champ.
