If your shoulder is injured and someone hits it, will it hurt? Byrd hits his shoulder and he felt pain, this does not imply that Byrd caused the injury to the shoulder.
nor is it an injury that puts a decisive stamp on the outcome...Byrd was slick....but him 'walking down' Vitali is just something Klitschko haters say to get the 'Klitites' riled....the **** Byrd could ever walk a Klit down...only Lennox has a case for that scenario
I apologise for nothing. Watch the fight, byrd made vitali miss all night long. I don't care what you tell me about the scorecards, at best vitali was 1 point up and was well on his way to losing that fight. He said himself he couldn't see because of pain so it's not beyond reason he'd have suffered some serious damage in the "championship rounds"
Rocky Marciano had a strategy of targeting his opponents arms to injure or slow them down. Whether that was the case with Byrd and Vitali, I don't know. Only one person knows and that's Vitali, who will do anything to discredit Byrd.
You apologize for the worthless Klitschko sisters all the time. Fact is, Byrd made Vitali look silly. Quitting on his stool just showed that Vitali lacks heart and can't deal with a situation where things aren't going his way. Why is it Vitali never rematched Byrd?
Holyfield was already having shoulder problems when he fought Byrd, and in his case I believe he threw a punch at Byrd and reinjured it. The injury was so bad, Holyfield could'nt extend his left arm outward properly to throw a jab without feeling sharp pain. What some of you guys might not know about Byrd and I heard this from a commentator in one of his fights, is that he's one of the few fighters that actually trained and practiced throwing and landing shots to the shoulder area of his opponent with the sole purpose of injuring that shoulder area Vitali may have been injured by Byrd landing on the shoulder.......but lets be real here, even when a fighter is targeting another's shoulder sockets, to injure it as bad as to have your opponent rendered incapacitated to continue is very rare. Certainly Vitali being in too much pain to continue (he thought by continueing he'd cause further damage to the shoulder) this certainly is'nt proving that Byrd was the better boxer. This is the reality......Bryd was getting soundly outboxed. He was way behind on the cards and Vitali's pain on his shoulder was so severe he chose to retire from the fight instead of threatening to further damage his shoulder and threatening his career by doing so. However the damage was caused, it was freakish and it rarely happens in boxing. We do know this, Byrd is not a better fighter than is Vitali Klitchko and their fight proved that...... .....and thats the bottom line.
Stop making excuses for vitali. Why can't you address my points? Regardless of the judges cards, vitali was, at best, only 1 point up. Byrd was well on his way to winning. Byrd made vitali miss all night and walked him down from round 5. I know you are a vitali nut gulper and believe he's still the true heavyweight champion. Take his **** out of your mouth and watch the fight yourself. Again I do not apologise for watching the fight and not conforming to popular opinion. Easily the worst night of vitali's career.
How about Vitali had already proven boxistical superiority over Byrd, and whats the point in setting up a rematch with him when in Byrds next fight after Vitali, Byrd lost every round to Wladimir and was completely and totally outclassed in the process. "Im going to take and beatdown on an opponent I've already boxed the pants out of and my brother just totally outclassed......Yes, I think the people will pay to see that."......... I can just imagine this going through Vitali's head.nut:nut
