I like the bloke, he's enthusiastic, puts on entertaining shows & is a refreshing alternative to Wrren, Maloney, Hennessy etc.

just got in from tonights show and Spencer's extremely different to any promoter i've seen (trainer, then promoter, then hype man) but from within the arena i must say i got impression that premier sports were making it all look rather like a novelty promotion. I hope it doesn't become that because it shouldn't be.

the Mitchell fight was top class and the atmosphere matched it but other then Qato's fight and that fight the rest were poor bouts. the Ryan bout wasn't anyone's fought then the fighters.

Spencer and Ciaran have a lot to learn as there young but tonight was good but in saying that you wanna keep tv contracts you have to offer more pure and simple.

tonights show was enough to warrant £35 but just. although i had to argue to get my ****ing tickets from front door. bit disorganized tbh.

I know Spencer personally and his heart is in the right place. He loves boxing and wants it toi flourish.

I went to a show somewhere upnorth, Doncaster or Scunthorpe or somewhere and watched darren hamilton fight. spencer supplied a big coach, food, drinks etc and only charged 20 quid each and that included ticket to the show. he defo made a loss on it but he did it to try and encourage support for his fighter. the bus alone would have cost a grand and there were only about 20 of us on it.

I think he is a good guy and his shows have been consistently more entertaining than a lot of the big shows I have gone to. More power to him and hopefully his shows will go from strength to strength.

no doubting that mate and im a fan of his although his facebook status sometimes start the wrong type of convo's he's a good guy and his hearts in right place. he's everywhere tonight i saw him on one side of ring then he was dealing with two guys squaring up for a fight.

i really hope Choi gets that world title fight and hope he wins and he brings some lads through and makes a solid stable cos him and Ciaran deserve it.

Carruthers was hilarious tonight! told the Albanians suck his **** then waged war as best he could.

Really enjoyed it last night, even my dad was up throwing bombs in the O'Donnell fight which was a war. Mitchell isn't to bad but i said to my dad and missus he's gonna get sparked if O'Donnell threw a right inside and left hook of it and he did :).

The atmosphere was best i've been at inside the York Hall or any real small hall type show. Spencer and Baynes are doing great stuff right now but both have to improve the standard for TV shows. They need a bit more quality in there ranks to really help sell it. Love what there doing with it but as said don't become a novelty act make this a real working mans promotion.

Your last point is something I have worried since the tv deal was announced ,but folk seem to say "his fights are all 50/50" etc and it's hard knocks etc which docent cover up the quality in te ranks

Your right about the novelty act,it seemed like it was going that way with him grabbing the mike it was more about specer than fights from premier's perspective in my opinion

Totally Agree Alba, Spencer's a great front man for the promotion but he needs to calm down a bit and let the boxing do it's talking. I sat there watching the arena screen at times and was bit worried it transmitted across as a madcap evening. Which in a way's good but HardKnocks is serious promotion at same time.

The 50/50 thing wasn't there last night in all fights, five fights and only three was 50/50. The Nathan Graham fight was rather embarrassing tbh so bad that my missus turned to me and said 'does this fight count on records?'.

Spencer fearon is the ****in man. Cares about the sport, the fighters and the fans and gives fans what they wanna see. Id rather have him as top boy than the other promoters about at the mo (fish eyes)

I honestly wish we had someone like him over here, giving the American scene a shot in the arm.

Spencer is a great guy and his shows are excellent with plenty of competitive fights and a good atmosphere.
