No I do rate Bute, more than most anyway I think. I just wonder how he's going to cope with the pressure, and with a question mark in my mind about Bute's beard I do wonder about the damage the kind of shots he landed on Froch would do to him. Not that he will be landing with the same regularity, but I think there's a chance Bute might not like the heat.

I'm not sure about 50/50 but I do give him the best shot of anyone at beating Ward. Those uppercuts could be Ward's kryptonite.

 

Nail on the head. I think Bute's loosy goosy style would be all wrong for Ward. Perhaps it's pushing it to call it 50/50, but IMHO Bute is no worse than 55/45. I would love to see how Wards 'blindfolding' and smothering would work against Bute. Andre has a tendency to fall in a times when he does that and that's where that uppercut and Bute's sneaky punching comes in. He has the ability to turn the shoulder and walk you into a shot. He's also a VERY sharp puncher up close and many of his shots would be coming from Ward's blindside.

 

Good analysis on Dawson Slip. Talented guy but like you say lacking in so many other aspects of his game. Like you said he is a fighter B-hop loves to mess around with low work rate and very single minded about his fight. Would love to see a B-Hop KO but after so many years I can't see it. Hard to believe bookies have him as the underdog.

Anyone watching the Darts? Is James Wade the biggest **** in Darts? Dolan just hit a nine darter and the norm is to clap show some respect especially in this format with the double start. Wade didn't even acknowledge is the little ****, I hate that man with a passion it looked like an effort just to touch hands when Dolan put his out!!
