You have to remember Hari Miles pulled out of fight with Mitchell Balker two days before. That would have been a very good fight. Choi's opponent pulled out 3 days before. That was the best two fights down.

To put on a show as good as that with those difficulties was a real achievement imo.

 

Well said. This is the reality of what promoters have to deal with, it happens all the time, but as long as promoters consistently try to put on competitive cards they deserve to be cut some slack when some of the match ups fall out of bed.

 

Spencer in the last few months has given Theophane awards, had him as a judge for hard knocks round card girl competition. This is because he has a 140 lber he wants a title shot for. He works the same way with fans, if you speak to him when you are gettin tickets he will say what people want to hear. But that's his job, to promote his fighters and sell tickets. So forgive him all that.

But the crap that comes out of his mouth sometimes is ridiculous. A case of the mouth running before the brain is in gear.

Don't read too much into it. Ashley and Spencer have been friends for years. In an ideal world, if he could get paid well enough Ash would want to fight for Spencer.

I appreciate what he's trying to do and he genuinely loves boxing and wants to see it in the mainstream. But he is a ****ing annoying **** in interviews.

 

i appriciate the diffiluties in promoting ,however when your contstantly going on about how your shows only do 50/50 fights ,and how everyfight is a main even etc ,and by this i mean on (radio/press) interview/facebook pages/and posting forums then then its only fair you are judged on that ?

 

WTF guys the geezer just got a 6 fight tv deal hes gonna be well pumped up.think hes gonna be like mar-mite you either like him or you don't. don't think yorkhall was packed out tho saw a few empty seats heard he gave away **** loads of free tickets to the Asians from up north to create this multicultural atmosphere.the breada done a good job BIG UP SPENCER FEARON. and all the hard knocks family.

 

There might have been a few empty seats but there were also about 300 people standing up.
