Hate the SKY Sports commentary - in fact most British commentary is awful when it comes to English vs Foreign affairs.
Round 5 Brook circles in and jabs from a 90-degree-angle tucked-left-elbow stance. Nice right hand by Brook, surprised Jackiewicz. All Jackiewicz can do is move off and try to hold when Brook jabs his way in on him. Jackiewicz is trying to touch the body in the clinches but otherwise not punching much. Brook is letting him tie up and waiting for Foster to break them, or squeezing his shoulders together and trying to Houdini out of the clinch. Brook draws Jackiewicz on, slipping jabs with head movement and dancing away on his toes in wide circles. Jabs from Brook. Overhand right by Brook, uppercut by Brook. Jackiewicz eats it but throws his own hard right back, momentarily backing Brook off before the young phenom comes back with more right hands behind his jab. 50-45 Brook
Who would you put him in with? Unfortunately there just aren't as many really good gatekeepers like there once was, there is no Glen Johnson type fighter at Welterweight, Jackiewicz isn't great but he is a top 20 Welterweight who has taken on quite a few top 20 Welterweights and he still represents the best opponent in Kell's career. As long as he steps up after this I would be happy with this fight :good
'And Kell Brook! He just flips his gumshield into his mouth! Born to be a fighter' Most ridiculous bit of commentary so far?
Round 6 The right-handed 1-2 is working for Brook, knocking Jackiewicz back a step every time. Body shots by Brook under the elbows. Jackiewicz looks wary, but is still coming forward a bit behind his wavering turtle shell. Jackiewicz does well to deflect a few straight shots on his outstretched forearms while backing out of the pocket. Brook just keeps circling in his preferred direction (to the left) and looking very comfortable just keeping his jab on Jackiewicz and timing right hands when those floating hands droop down below his face. Brook is stinging with the jab and walks Jackiewicz back, his right uppercut crashing against the Pole's arms but sending him reeling anyway. Overhand right! Jackiewicz is slightly wobbled, but keeps his hands up. REF STOPPAGE!!
