Reminds me of a poor white mans Roy Jones with like half the speed and power, also with a little Calzaghe/Vitali awkwardness mixed in for good measure. He looked really impressive last night, I'm interested to see where he goes from here.
He looked good and there is no question he could trouble many MW's out there, though I would like to see more of him before I'm completely sold, but he was fast, sharp and fun to watch while it lasted in that one sided pasting of Sylvester. He had Sylvester stumped and he couldn't get anything off. Good fighter, I hope he gets his shot soon.
Sylvester is not a very good boxer, so it was easy for Proksa to look good. He's a talent no doubt, but still way behind Martinez.
I hope that what I saw last night was a big improvement from him because 5 years ago he fought Steve Conway and had some shaky moments at the end of the fight.
Nice to see Proksa gaining good fights and some respect finally. I know that he had trouble with finding a good opponent, but now he has some recognition and is high ranked (Ring Mag no. 4). One of the most entertaining boxers to watch.
To early for Proksa to face any elite in the middleweight division, he beat Sylvester yes. But still has a long way to go, and i'm not impressed with his record, but the win defiantly put him on the boxing map. Would be fantastic to see him fight again in 2011. Any news regarding his next opponent?
Yet, Sturm and Geale took 12 rounds to beat him while Super G did the job in less than 3 rounds and in a way more impressive fashion.
