Helenius isn't young enough to be the natural successor to Wlad, and I expect he'll end up on the ring with a Klitschko sooner or later and lose. Also I believe from what I've seen of him a good pure boxer at B level could UD him. Possibly someone like Eddie Chambers or Chris Byrd. Maybe even Kevin Johnson who I think is very talented and could be so much more if he got his act together. Helenius has some fantastic wins so far but they've came against sluggers rather than boxers. Until he fights a good boxer who can move around the ring it's hard to say how good he really is

Arreola is not going to be the number 1 man in the division, and at no point in boxing history would have been. The Adamek fight showed that. There are always fighters of Adamek's calibre active in the division so Arreola will never be more than a contender or at most a temporary belt holder but not champion

I see the titles chaning hands often for a while. Similar to what happened in the time between Tyson and Lewis.

Hopefully we find out, but Cris is all wrong for Wlad. The best Cris doesn't beat any version of Vitali, but will give Wlad hell. Cris and Vitali like to fight, Wlad doesn't. I said this a couple of years back: Vitali took him on to keep him away from Wlad.

I'm not saying Cris is a greater boxer, just that styles and temperments lead me to think he has a damn good chance against Wlad.

I don't think so. Arreola has a decent style to pose a threat to Wlad, but because of the power old Vitali has lost since his retirement I think Wlad can discourage Arreola sooner than Vitali could. I think Wlad would KO Arreola the same way he did Thompson. A straight right as he's tired and moving forward. In some cases the different in calibre between two fighters will override stylistic differences

It's a fight I'd love to see though. Arreola will make it interesting

Post-Klitschko, the HW division comes down to Helenius and Solis. One has the power to dominate, the other has the skills.

Yep lets ban every man over 200 pounds from fighting. That should give the sport a boost.

There is a 19 year old Croatian named Filip Hrovic(sp) fighting in the amateurs. hopefully he turns pro after the London games. I have similar hopes for Omarov of Russia who is 22 and should represent Russia in London next year then turn pro.

Yes it would. Everything boxers do would be discounted because we could all say there are lots larger men walking the streets in our own communities that beat all these guys and are banned from the sport.

Any guy in the Heavyweight top twenty puts all lower weight champs to sleep. (maybe not all beat cruiser but my point stands).

Some of these "Champs" that you fellate over constantly would be KO'd by a jab from the Heavyweight champ. Some would die. The media and the general public, who already have relegated our sport to a niche market would have a field day.

You're not special, you're people are not special. Trying to radically change the sport and damage it irreparably so you feel better about yourself is childish. You are not a fan of boxing.
